If we want change to succeed, instead of pushing people uphill against their instincts, we need to focus on altering business systems, governance, and workflows so that new behaviors emerge naturally. By designing environments that reduce friction for the right actions (and increase friction for the old ones), leaders can create lasting, scalable change without relying on force.
This workshop, based on nearly a decade of research from the Business Agility Institute, will provide concrete change leadership practices. Through real-world examples and hands-on activities, we’ll how practices, such as shifting governance from approval-based to audit-based, reducing unnecessary handoffs, and designing behavioral triggers can transform organizations.
Change doesn’t have to be a struggle—if we pave the right path, people will walk it themselves
