Message in Motion: Leading Influence Through Change & Complexity
Raechelle McLean has over 15 years of experience leading and advising large-scale change, Agile transformation and cultural evolution across complex organisations. As the founder and Managing Director of Accelerer, she works with executive leaders, transformation offices and delivery teams to accelerate outcomes by building adaptive leadership capability and embedding sustainable change practices. Her expertise spans influencing up, across and down, enabling clarity in ambiguity and strengthening alignment in fast-moving environments.
Raechelle is known for her highly engaging, experiential facilitation style that moves beyond theory into lived insight. She designs practical, interactive experiences that help leaders rethink influence, communication and behaviour in complexity. Her work centres on one core belief: in uncertain and uncharted conditions, leadership is less about control and more about creating shared meaning that enables people to act with confidence and coherence.
About this workshop –
In complex environments, influence does not come from authority or perfectly crafted messages. It emerges from shared meaning.
Message in Motion is a highly interactive session exploring what it truly means to lead through change and complexity.
Through a live, “in-room experience’, participants will see how traditional top-down communication can unintentionally dilute clarity as messages move through hierarchy, and how adaptive, co-created approaches build alignment, ownership and real influence.
Rather than talking about leadership in theory, this workshop makes it visible.
Participants will be nominated from the room to work through two contrasting communication challenges in real time, revealing how meaning is either fragmented or strengthened depending on how it is built.
The session challenges leaders to rethink influence, not as a function of position, but as a capability grounded in shared understanding.
Participants will leave with:
• A deeper understanding of how communication patterns shape alignment
• Practical tools to build clarity in complex environments
• Insight into influencing up, across and down
• A renewed leadership stance focused on co-creation over control
Because in complexity, clarity is not delivered. It is designed together.
